Hey guys. Total newb here. I just got my Blackberry Curve 8520 today from Virgin Media. I set it up as normal then turned it off so I could copy my old contacts onto my new sim. Bad idea. Basically it won't turn on anymore, although there is a red light flashing 4 times at interval of about 2 seconds. I'm guessing it's because I didn't charge the battery out of pure idiocy.

I've tried pulling the battery, doesn't work.
Removing the sim, doesn't work.

I can connect it to my PC. Windows recognises the BB but the DM program doesn't. -_-

I would wipe the BlackBerry using Jl Cmder to reset the OS but the Virgin Media software download page on the Blackberry site doesn't actually work, so I'm kinda stuck. I'm in Europe btw.

Anyone have any idea what to do? Maybe I should just send it back.

Have you actually tried to just leave the battery in, and just plug in to charge via a wall charger?

Already tried that thanks. Left it plugged in for at least ten hours.
