Default Is BB 9700 + iPad wifi version a good idea?

Anybody is using this combination? Is it possible to tether the iPad to BB 9700 without paying additional tehtering cost? How does the connection speed looks like?

Not heard of it being done. Doesn't mean it can't be. I know you can use a MiFi as the WiFi connection.

I don't know of any way to share the 3G internet connection of the 9700 using WiFi so I don't believe what you are asking is possible.

Yes this is possible to tether you're WiFi iPad to you're Bold, however it uses a program called iBlueRiver and uses modem mode on the BB and is deathly slow.

I have it running on mine, but dont end up using it due to the speed.

This is also currently the only possible solution out there, I mean it WORKS, but not worth it for constant surfing etc, good if your caught in a pinch however!

I am using a program called ibluever and it is using the Bluetooth connection on the iPad and the iPhone to connect. . Remember even if you had a faster connection. It still would not be as fast because over all the 3G connection is only like 100+kB where edge is around 40. But it does do the job well for surfing the web downloading emails listen to music . I am using it on the 9520. I am running into a few issues with the torch . Gettering and error with Twitter and google gmail it says connection is not secure .
