Default refund from app world?

Please Login to Remove!

Tried a quick search but dont have much time,
have looked at app world and can't see anything, found a support email but it just bounced right back.

I bought software on there (only 4ukp but thats not the point) that simply doesnt work as advertised and their support must know it as all emails went ignored.. so i feel conned and want to file a return.. as its over 45days paypal dont want to know. app world seem to be just saying contact vendor, but if they ignore your mail.. surely that means anyone can put an app up at any price and sell it whether it works or not and just rake in the cash???

I have to be honest here. The fact that you are trying for a refund after 45 days will cause all sorts of issues. What made you leave it so long?

As i wrote in my original post i tried contacting support.. I didn't expect immediate response, but this is getting silly now as they still have not replied.. I was assuming they'd get round to i at some point. it seems they arnt going to bother.

if you called the vendor they should show a tracking record of it as most place would have a ticketing systems. if it shows that you called in before and nothing has been done call and inquire about it again. if it is there it should be re looked at and taken care of

hummm... with me, not working as supposed within the week I want my money back already. 15 days the most I wait. Its all up to the vendor now i guess.

I dont know what to really suggest on this but was it RIM that you contacted directly or the app company?

I've just e-mailed mmmooo re: the Weather Plus app - it just blatantly sucks! At 3pm every day the forecast disappears so have asked for a refund - will let you know how it goes.

It was the apps support i contacted. i wouldnt know how to contact rim as appworld doesnt seem to have any contact details within it and simply says to contact the vendor in this kind of situation. do rim not vett who gets on appworld in any way?
