Default Email Service down?

Please Login to Remove!

I'm in NH and my Pearl stopped receiving emails instantly about 3 to 4 days ago. Time will pass and Ixxx8217;ll receive all of my emails at once, usually about 2 or 3 times a day. Ixxx8217;ve even been going to Gmail.com to get my emailxxx8230;that is how bad it is.

Are there any known issues regarding Blackberry Service at all? Maybe an update or something?

I have not called Sprint yetxxx8230;but If I cannot figure this out by lunch time Ixxx8217;ll give them a call.

BTW, my friend with the same service and everything up here is having the same issue. Didnxxx8217;t know if it was Blackberry or possibly Sprint.

I've re-registered with blackberry about 10 times already, and still nothing..

Thanks in advance..

When you say you re-registered have you deleted the account(s) via the BIS web site, waited 10 minutes, and then re-added? I know yesterday there was a delay of e-mails, but now mine seem to be coming through pretty instant.

I agree w/Jeremy, delete the email setup at the BIS site and readd.

There has not been a Sprint-nationwide outage, perhaps something localized to your geographic area, but nothing reported that I have seen, and you are the first to mention it.

Thanks guys..I will try that. I would just go to:

Options
Advanced Options
Host Routing Table
Menu - Register Now

I receive an email stating:

"Your handheld has been registered with the wireless network"

I just wanted to add that there was a problem with Sprint yesterday morning for several hours.

The article here mentions there were problems with Verizon and AT&T BIS also:

Well she said it started 3-4 days ago, so I just wanted to mention that there was a problem yesterday, although it's probably not related to the extended problem she's having.
