How exactly does it work? Ive been able to transfer a picture to my sister once and my cousin once. I am trying to transfer a file to my fiances phone but we cant seem to locate eachother.

We both have ours set to be found and what not, so I know thats not an issue.


My fiances phone is an LG shine. Will it work with that phone? Im just not sure how this bluetooth stuff works. But arent you supposed to be able to send a file to anyone within 30 meteres or something? Him and I are right beside eachother. Please help...

You need to pair the devices. Make sure your BB (and the other phone) is set to "discoverable."

Once they are paired then, on your BB, navigate to where you want to store the file they are going to send. Select "Receive using Bluetooth." Then have the other person send the file. You have to do this EACH time you receive a file. You send the same way...find the file and then select "send using bluetooth."

yeah but both our phones are on discoverable and we cannot pair with eachother, we cannot even find eachothers phone from ours.

it is also been turning itself off and i cannot restart it until i take the battery off when it turns back on I get this error:

:Uncaught exception: application net_rim_bb_facebook(125) is not responding: process terminated."

should I just take it in and get a new one? thatll be my 6th bb pearl in a year!

Your device got wet....you're lucky it works at all since you gave it no time to dry out.
