Default email and sms management

Please Login to Remove!

currently all emails ( from various blackberry associated accounts ) and sms's are placed in general message folder

anyway to change into one of these

1) place sms in a specific email folder e.g username @gmail.com ( less likely as far as I can tell)
2) store sms in its own folder
3) change a setting so that email from a particular blackberry associated email will NOT be placed in general message folder

My problem is that my sms messages are urgent but get LOST in general message folder which get all my listserve emails ( which are not so urgent)
need to separate sms from general mail

Depending on the OS version you have, you should be able to send your SMS messages to a seprerate folder. From your e-mail screen, push the menu key and select General Options. You should see a field titled ""SMS and E-Mail Options". Change the option to "Separate". You should see a disitnct, new SMS icon on your display afterwards.

How can I separate my BIS e-mails from my BES e-mails. I have 4 BIS accounts set up, and while they do have their own icons which contain just the e-mails from that account, there is also a copy of those e-mails in my "messages" which is the only place (that I am aware of) that my BES e-mails go to.
I guess what I am askingis, can I have a separate list of messages for each e-mail account? If so, how do I get the device to keep them separate?

Thanks

ndub,

I have had my 8100 for 2.5 years, and just got a new 8120 today. I've always used the BB Dimension Today theme. Most important stuff for me is messages, calendar. I recently put a data plan on my phone, so it would kind of be nice to have my SMS messages separate from my email messages, and my calendar (and to-do list, though that can just be an app icon, along with addy book).

Not sure how much theme experience you have, but are there any themes you know of that would show sms, email, and calendar like the "today" theme does with just messages and calendar?

Just thought I'd ask.

I am looking for the same thing, really want to use the Today themes, but also want the sms and email folders to show up separate instead of togheter as they do now in the message folder.

Any one have a solution to this?
