Default 8100 hidden message

Hi all, any assistance with this matter would be greatly appreaciated. I recently updated my 8100 to OS 4.5.0.124, having no problems with the exception of a "ghost" message indicator. I deleted anything I could find, ie saved messages, missed calls, just about all of the e-mails, but when I count e-mails, I may see 7 but the message notifier shows 8....for the life of me I can't find anything unopened. I have pulled battery, left on charger, but to no use. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all, I have pulled the battery...but upon remembering...I OTA the os update to the phone, and saved it , where I was sure I could remember where I placed it.., I believe that might be the problem....once i got home, (after the OTA) I redownloaded to the desk top...then installed...if that is the problem, short of wiping the phone...I'll just deal with it till I do a phone wipe. I searched everywhere in order to find the download, and for the life of me can't find it..... In any case once I get to a conclusion, I'll keep at it.

Default Fixed

After reading more posts on another issue I have with the upgrade, found the problem with the "ghost" email/message. I am using Zen as my theme, changed that theme to....say today....went to the e-mail and found the problem. Apparently when I updated the OS, there was a registration sent to RIM, but my Zen theme would not show it , once I changed it I found the rest of the ghost messages from resending address books, etc..., in any case, message counter...back to normal...now off to figure out the MMS issue......tkns to all your replies.
Peace G
