im running 4.5 os on 8800.

im trying to get several games to work which are online multiplayers (chess etc, theyre all designed for bb), but each game i try will not connect to the servers. its not a password/username issue, it just doesnt find the servers. the apps are trying to connect to a few different servers. this leads me to believe it is a problem with my bb settings. ive tried everything im aware of, changing a few settings in the options menu, but nothing has proven to work yet.

i asked my friend, also running 4.5 on a pearl, he has the same issue. so im guessing that this is a common problem but i cant find any information on solving it.

i really dont think the after market section is the right place for my thread. though the problem occurs whilst using aftermarket software, the problem is clearly an issue with my bb settings.
