Ok so I just downloaded BBWeather and I disabled the MDS proxy but now when I try to get an update, I get the follow message: "The application BBWeather has attempted to open a connection to a location inside the firewall and outside the firewall which is not allowed by your IT policy"

Any ideas?

Cheers,
Josh

Default BBreply

I just installed BBreply on my 8700c. I added addresses in it. When i go to an email to reply, the addresses do not come up when I click on reply to address. Is there something I need to do?

does anyone else have an issue of BBtoday locking up the device if buttons are pressed while in BBtoday?

It seems that if i press any buttons, other than the thumb wheel, the whole device locks up.

i have a 7130e.

I am having the same issue. I have created two entries to be used when replying. No matter which one I choose it uses the "default" one.

Please help.

I need the weather code for Houston, TX again for BBToday. I put in the ones I saw earlier and got "could not open tunnel-failed" on a 7105t. Help?

Erica, the code works fine with your zipcode. Have you disabled the mds? Go to the weather, options, and sroll to where it says disable MDS proxy, make sure that is checked. You might want to resend yourself the service books and for good measure reboot. That ought to do it for you.

I feel like a bit of a tool...but I'm still having problems gettign the weather function to work in BBToday.

When I try to enter my Canadian LocationID (CAXX0333) it won't let me enter any letters...only numbers for a zip code.

Is there a way around this?

Many thanks.

Have you tried the built in search function where you put your city and state and let it find it for you?

Is BBCorrector a spell checker? If so do I install it like any other app? In reading the forum it seems there is something more to this file then just loading it onto my 8700.

thanks!

For US locations just use the zip code.

bbCorrector is identifying the misspelled word and offering alternative spellings; however, then I select the word to replace it with it also "grabs" the words in front of the misspelled word.

Any ideas? Thanks.

bbCorrector - Free Spell Checking powered by Google
I have written a new server for bbCorrector. (open source free spell checking)

Spelling Results are provided by Google (same results provided by the Google Toolbar) which also enabled me to provide spelling in 11 languages.

Also written in support for custom dictionaries.

If you are already using bbCorrector you do not need to reinstall it, simply point it to the new server URL (either HTTP, or the HTTPS proxy) to begin taking advantage of the better spelling results provided by Google. To take advantage of other features create a free account to change your language settings and edit your custom dictionary.

Complete directions at: http://bb.nexstanza.com/

Let me know how it goes!

I didn't write or modify the bbCorrector client, I may not be able to help with certain client issues.

[UPDATE] tateu has written an update to the bbCorrector client so it works properly with 4.0.2 and later handheld software. Please be sure to upgrade to this client if you have the 4.0.2 or later.

Download Now!

Sorry...I'm not seeing a search function built in to BBToday.

Where would I find that?

Thanks
