Default "Must Do's" For New BB User

Please Login to Remove!

I should be receiving a new BB 7290 tomorrow from Cingular. This will be my first BlackBerry experience. Other than email setup through my corporate BES, are there any "must do first" tasks that you experienced users would recommend . . . like update system software to newest version, download essential 3rd party apps, setting certain defaults, etc. Any "don't do's" would also be helpful.

Thanks for the suggestions. I am looking forward to getting this thing setup and coming back here for answers when I get stuck.

I immediately added:
bbToday, Berry 411, BBLight, Reqwireless webviewer and streetracer for when I am bored. Most apps were free with the exception of the webviewer which was 30 bucks or so, but well worth the money.
