Is it possible to be able to preview the first post in a topic without having to click on the topic? Several forums I visit have this function and it is very helpful when deciding whether to open the thread or move on.

I will consider enabling this one week from today. I need to see what sort of loads the server is under, try it for the week, compare loads.

If there is no significant difference, then it will stay.
