Smile Tethering

Please Login to Remove!

I managed to Tether my Curve 8900, AT&T. Created the modem connection. Works OK, but speed is limited to 115kbs. I downloaded a software called Thetherberry which is supposed to allow greater speeds, as Tethering is done thru a Network adapter created in Windows by the Tetherberry software. This is not working. Tetherberry support is suggesting that I change the TCP/IP settings (APN, username, password, address, etc.).

1. If I change this setting, will my BB funcitionality be affected (will this affect my Data Connection (Internet, etc.)?
2. Has anybody tried Tetherberry, and if yes, what are the results?
