Default Which OS?

Please Login to Remove!

Opinions requested.

I have a 8310 with version 4.2 on SunCom network just purchased and "original", ie no personal information loaded on it yet.

I am seeking to put an 8 gig microsd card in it.

What OS version would allow me to do this without incurring a host of bugs?

I place no value on turning my Picture camera into a movie camera.

Being able to pull in YouTube would be nice but not at the risk of bugging down the device.

Thank you, in advance, for your opinions....

No Beta version then. Stick to 4.2 if you don't want bugs.

Default Next best then?

Ok...I understand Beta means not perfect, etc. Maybe I should have asked which OS for the 8310 would allow the increased memory with the LEAST bugs. Thanks for your quick response. I really want to get moving and purchase a SD card and become a proficient BB user.

The most current 8310 OS can be found here - http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...ilanguage.html

Follow the instructions carefully. That particular version has been reasonably stable, and is "officially" released, although not by Suncom.

The OS that NJ linked you to will support an 8GB MicroSD card. 4.2 only supports 4GB
