Our current Exchange server 2003 SP2 is on Server 2003 SP1.

If I apply the Server OS 2003 SP2 will it affect BES 4.1.6?

I know the firewall update will be fun to deal with.

I found some good info, not sure if it is all I need.

The OS upgrade shouldn't affect the BES although I'd install the OS SP on the BES as well. Might want to schedule a downtime window to do both at the same time just to be safe.

Thanks Audit but BES is installed on ADV Server 2000.

We've always pushed the SPs out when it becomes available to WSUS and have never run into a problem. The biggest glitch we ran into was when Exchange SP2 was pushed out - that's when the Domain Admin strip Send-As Permissions "patch" was applied.

Cool thanks man. I know it should be simple but the second I have to give it more thought than usual, it has to fall to the bottom of the list :->.

I fixed my backup issue, so SP2 will be delayed until the next big holiday I wish to work on.
