Default email problem- BIS

Please Login to Remove!

Emails are not being forwarded to Blackberry. Have a 8830 with Sprint and use BIS to have email forwarded. Everything was working fine for two weeks until last week the email stopped. When I logged on to BIS it stated the account was suspended. I have had numerous calls to Sprint and have proper data plan and have reset the BIS account now twice. I am now able to send email out on the BB but the email is not being forwarded to the BB. I have resent the service books, pulled the battery and rebooted, provisioned the account, all to no avail. We have other BB in company using BIS and all work well. Any suggestions?

Now that you can send e-mails, try deleting the account via the Sprint BIS website, then re-adding it back in.

Did you resend service books from BIS?

I am not sure if it will help but I don't think it can hurt. Have you tried Registering your Host Routing Table? Menu>options>Advanced options>Host Routing table> Menu>Register Now.

If nothing works call tech support and ask for the Blackberry support group. The tech might try to help but there is nothing as good as someone from Blackbery Support

Agree. Your next stop should be the BB technical support or better yet, escalate to RIM.

I, too, am having this issue once again. It happened about a month ago and resending the service books solved it. It dumped every I had missed over two days into my device. this time I tried resending service books and registering my host router table and all I got were two confirmation emails for each of the actions taken.

Mine has been doing the same thing...about 3 days now, no msn email. I sent an email to my gmail, msn, and blackberry accounts, and never heard back from msn.

Service books resent - check
Register host routing table - 'bout to try it

Not getting msn emails on my Blackberry - ehh...there are worse things...

Still peeved, though!
