Eventually yes. TMobile will get it first, AT&T probably 2-3 months after, maybe April?

Well if history has anything to do with things, at&t dropped the 8800 in Feb of 07, and then the Curve hit in June of 07. Figure 4 months between those two devices. Now since the Bold kind of replaces the 8800 series, and the 8900 is the replacement for the Current Curve, I'd say 4 months from the date the Bold dropped (Nov 4th) seems about right. Maybe late Feb 09, early March 09!

But who knows? The death star (at&t) might just pull a fast one on us! As usual, We'll just have to wait and see.

It's still up in the air, and now theres even more complicating factors. But it could very well be the 22nd.

Is the 8900 the same size as the 8310? Or at least close. I had the 8310. Got the 9000. I don't like the size or the keypads. They are too close together. Without a space between them, it slows down the typeing BAD!!

I want the 8900 processor in an 8310 case!!

Just did a little studying of the 8310, 8900, and 9000 specs. The 8900 is where I will be!!! The guy at the AT&T store told me about 3 hours ago when I was in there that they don't know when they are getting it, but they ARE getting it. My problem is that I'm tight, so I buy all my phones at Sam's. Got my Bold friday for $198. Beats the hell out of $399 at the AT$T store.

I know. Just makes me laugh. I went in and asked a few months ago when they were getting the Bold. One didn't have a clue what I was talking about. Another told me that they had gotten the plastic demo, but AT&T wasn't going to release it. Just cracks me up that I learn much more on here than any of the stores in town can tell me.

Why would they get the dummy phone but not the real thing?

That was 3 months ago, when they were just getting ready to release the 8900. They get the demo a couple of days ahead of the expected launch date. If the launch is pushed back, as often happens, the demo can be out on display and the real thing nowhere to be found.
