If so, how was your battery after?
First of all, I knew I would get something amazing from BlackBerry Forums eventually.. This application is amazing, going to be hard to put the blackberry back on the cradle and get to sleep tonight!
As for battery life, it's pretty draining as of right now... I had about 1/4 battery about 20 min ago, almost cradle time now... I'm estimating (depending on volume when on speaker mode) you could play slacker for prob an hour, 80 min tops. Prob a little longer (90 min) with a headset.

I thought it might have been a similar play mode problem you were having such as when you are playing mp3 files on the Storm's Music Player you can hot menu and switch to headset/speaker... can't change it on Slacker tho....

Once again, I have to say how awesome this app is! I have my favorite station cached and have been listening for at least a couple hours. My battery is still nearly full. I even listened to it in the car while running errands! lol

Hey guys. I was finally able to download Slacker and it is awesome. What radio station(s) do you recommend?

Yay! I'm glad it finally worked. I say go with whichever genre you're in the mood for. Or, if you have a specific artist in mind, just type in the artist name and it will create a station with songs by that artist as well as similar ones.

Default Help!!

I went to Slacker's page and followed directions. After the download was completed it asked me to repot. I did that. Once my phone came back on, I went to the same site and it it’s the same as the first time. It asked me to download. I did it like 5 times and every time I go to the site it just says to download? I know it my phone accepted the download because every time I click on download it asks me to replace the existing one. I have my storm on the Blackberry Internet.. Can some please help. I would love to use it.

No. Hit the menu button and there should be an icon of a folder with a yellow arrow with "downloads" under it. By default, I think, all downloaded applications are installed there. If you'd like to move an application to a different folder or to the main menu, highlight it and then select "move to folder" from the menu.

I'm not sure what to do. I downloaded it. I tried again and it asked me if I wanted to replace the existing one.. Do I need to go to a different site to listen to the radio? Or would it be in a different folder. I just got the phone yesterday, so im not sure how to use it all that much.

You listen via the downloaded application. After you've downloaded it (which it seems you have done), you don't have to go back to the website. You have to load the application the same way you would the browser or the calendar: by clicking the icon. Most likely you'll find the application in your downloads folder like I explained above.

From the main screen, hit the menu button, then hit it again, and then select "show all" from the menu. Does the downloads folder show up then?

Thank so much for your help. It finally showed up under the downloads just like you said.. Now when I click on it, it’s asking for a “key store password”. Do you know what password it is?

Default Slacker Install Problems

I had a problem with Slacker. You need to goto the website on your PC, login there. This may fix issue you are having getting Slacker to "download" properly on your BB Storm. I kept getting error messagethat said I had to be logged in to the PC online site before I could login from my phone. That fixed the login problems I was having with my BB Storm.

Awesome App!

Wow, really sounds great, no trouble downloading, but can't figure out how to turn it off other than shutting down my phone !!
Keep in mind I'm a rookie...
