Any ideas how to get the camera option back? I opened DM and clicked on applications to see if I could install it from there but it wasn't an option.

If you go to Options > Advenced Options > Applications, is it listed in that list? If so the app is there but its either hidden or the icon was put into a sub-folder like Applications after the update.

Type "camera" into Universal Search bar, it should come up in the results
