I have the BB Bold 9700, and when I try to send SMS messages to certain numbers, it won't send and comes up with "unidentified subscriber".

I did google the issue, and have tried taking the battery out. I also have the service number under options, so it's not that either.

Anyone know what the problem is? It isn't all numbers, just some.

Unless your service number is missing or missing the area code or all the numbers for the person your trying to reach and Depending on where your trying to text, you may be running into a restricted network or subscriber.
Try pulling the battery and see if it clears. Some text services that do forwarding send this message back if the number is no longer available If extreemly lucky you will get a status code to help indicate the issue.
