We are seeking a strong Blackberry Application Engineer to join ProKarma in a permanent position in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate with have at least 3-4 yrs in the Mobile space and have developed several Blackberry applications.

Candidate should understand Blackberry JDE, SDK versions 4.2 and above, Application Development and Architecture. Must have strong communication skills, verbal and written.
Demonstrate track record of developing and releasing Blackberry applications. Demonstrate experience in object oriented design and development of applications and systems. Master new technologies and push the envelope for performance and reliability. Provide defensive coding ability accompanied with strong analytical and creative problem solving skills. Creat rapid prototyping of mobile applications in cooperation with marketing and product development teams. Development of User Interfaces for mobile devices.

Requirements:

5+ years of mobile java development experience, with at least 2 years of development experience on the Blackberry platform. Strong understanding of Blackberry JDE, MDS runtime, interactive application development paradigms, memory management, file I/O, network & socket programming, concurrency and multi-threading. Experience in J2ME and blackberry application performance analysis and tuning, benchmarking and unit testing is desired. BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant discipline and experience.
