Hello,

I've just got a Blackberry bold and having trouble connecting to the internet using wifi. I dont have a data plan but am getting a strong connection to my home router however in the wifi options it appears as a grey dash stating not connected to blackberry services. Internet doesn't work.. Is there a way to get internet working using wifi? Thanks

P.S. tried removing battery, changing browser to hotspot browser.. Running out of ideas.

well i did everything what others had suggested.. while trying to connect to different wireless networks it keeps on telling me unable to connect
reason: failed to obtain an ip address

You need to have the WiFi service books. Without these, you cannot use WiFi.
