My phone is going straight to voice mail without ringing. I know it's supposed to do that when I'm on the phone or when I don't have service, but it's happening for 3 out of 4 calls and I have 4 bars. I would think a phone setting is off, but it rings occasionally & there seems to be no pattern as to when it alerts me and when it doesn't.

Try a battery pull with the BB powered on, other than that do you have the full EDGE service, I think that's what it is.

As far as I know I have the full edge service. I bought everything AT&T said I should have have.

Does it say EDGE or edge on the top right of your screen. It should not matter as you should get your calls with either!.

If a battery call did did not fix it then return the device for another.

Soinds like a service issue. Contact ATT may be a setting in there servers that is not right on your acct.
