My new 8800 shows a smiley face message count of 1, yet I can't find the message. Anybody know what this means?

Sorry if I'm asking something I could find in a search, but I'm traveling w/o internet access and this is faster to do on the BB.

Messenger shows no active conversations, and there are no smiley messages in Messages.

Taking a guess here - have you looked in Saved Messages?

Back to BB Messenger....is there anything under the 'Pending' folder?

Don't see a pending folder. Just contacts (1/1) and conversations (none).

Try a hard reboot - remove/reinsert the battery.

You have to alt-right shift-del twice and still sometimes it's not quite the same as pulling the battery.
