Default Wm5 Vs Bb Email (want To Get Bb, Newbie)

Please Login to Remove!

I have sprint MOTO Q and I know I will be getting the Spring 8830 no matter what. At my work I have created rules in my outlook for my incoming email's to be seperated to their prospective folders (just make my life alot easier and more organized).

Problem is under WM5 on my Q I can only see emails that are in my main inbox and either I do not know how or It can not be done, there is no way to get into the subfolders from the phone.

Is this not a problem on the Blackberry 8830 and BB's alltogether?

You'll experience similar issues with your Blackberry. The device has one "inbox" which will gather all of your e-mail. Your Outlook rules will have no effect on the messages delivered to your Blackberry.

Outlook and the Blackberry are pretty much unrelated in terms of e-mail. Your Blackberry will communicate directly with your mail provider... not your mail client.

Will Exchange sever-side rules still be processing in a BES setup?

On the Q, you should be able to set the subfolders to sync. On the BB, I have no trouble viewing subfolders.

I have some rules like this in Outlook too and I CAN, if i need to, find them on my blackberry under the subfolders.

So you can sync to subfolders on the BB? This is very confusing to me, I hear you can't then I hear you can

I have a Verizon Q and can sync selected folders from Exchange using the OMA feature.
