Is anyone having a problem where after listening to a VM, the LED continues to blink red? I don't have any new messages or any new VM's. A battery pull always solves the problem, but I'd rather not do it everytime I get a voicemail. Any help is greatly appreciated.

While I do not use VM, I have seen the same behavior with regular e-mail messages. I tracked it down to not deleting the message properly. Hope this gives you something to work on. 73

I get the same thing. Annoys me too. Sadly, I have no helpful advice--I've only been able to cure it by battery pull (or by waiting out whatever period before the light stops blinking on its own).

Mine did the same thing for a bit, but it has not done it since the update I did yesterday evening.

I found that the Google Gmail application causes the red light to keep blinking even if you've read all the gmail emails in your Blackberry inbox because you didn't access the Gmail app and the read/unread marks on the Blackberry don't sync with Gmail. Once you open and close Gmail app, the red light stops blinking. Regardless, it sounds like your blinking red light was caused by something else.

Here's one thought...

if you get a VM, it puts a message in your SMS/Messages folder which simply says you have a new VM... if you delete (or read) that it should stop the blinking... the Device isn't really connected to the VZW VM inbox as far as message alerts go... In Phone options, you can turn off the messages for the call log... but there is no option to turn off the "voice mail" message which shows up...
