I've had my BB Style for about 2 weeks and yesterday a yellow envelope appeared on the home screen w/ a 1 next it. The envelope has a white spot in the lower left corner w/ a blue symbol inside (can't make out the symbol). Can anyone tell me what the envelope is far and how to remove it? I've looked at my messages several times and I don't have any unread messages. Thanks

It's definitely some kind of message icon.
Check all your message folders (Messages > menu key > View folders, etc.).

Scroll to the top of your Messages folder, press the Menu key > mark prior opened.

If you can't find an unread message, try a battery pull. I occasionally get blank text message indicators and the only way to get rid of them is with a battery pull.

Thanks for your tip, I went to View Folder and found a Sprint Alert folder containing an unopened message that cleared the envelope. I'll have to remember this for next time it happens. Thanks again, gbware

You can also press the letter U when you're looking at messages and it will automatically go to the next unread message. The quick keys are pretty cool. B for bottom. T for top. There's a list of them that should have come with your phone. You can probably google it to.
