Hi All!
Im new to blackberrys as of a couple weeks ago when I switched to att and got the curve 8330.

so I'm a nerd and like to be able to customize and such.

but for right now one thing annoys me is the status light.
first of, it does not turn on red or green when the device is plugged in
second it blinks too slow when I get a message.

any way to customize this? or is it supposed to turn on while charging or what?

If the phone is OFF and plugged in to charge, the LED will light up.
If the phone is ON and plugged in to charge, the LED will NOT light up.

Also, no there is no way to change the pace of the LED flashing when getting a message.

so theres no way to have the light turn on while the phone is on and plugged in? does that not seem a little silly? I have to take it out of its case and check it to see if its charged or not?

well hows it possible? and i got some third party case off cellphoneshop.com its a little feminine but has a gap for the charger...

Ahhh I see. AS most BB's come with a case, or most people use OEM BB cases, where you have to take it out to charge it....
