If I sync from outlook I can set a reminder in my bb longer than 1 week but I cannot do it from within the bb. Is there a way to do from the bb?

I'm not sure if it matters, but I have a 7290. When I'm in the calendar, I scroll the whole way to the top. You should see the days of the week listed beside the time. There should be an arrow next to Saturday. Keep clicking the arrow until you reach the day you need. Is this what you are talking about?

go to calender -> click on scroll wheel -> option -> Default reminder -> click alt + roll scroll wheel to set your default reminder, the max you can get is 1 week.
