Got mine today.
Wow this is ruggized skin. This is not really what I was wanting. I wanted the the tight skin ..
But this new case will protect the BB very very well.
It adds more weight to the unit.

I don't think it adds any more actual weight. It just adds a bit more size, which is percieved as weight. It takes a few weeks to get used to it, but I couldn't live without mine.

Once a week or so I take the blackberry out of the Skin Tight case to give it a dust off, and the handheld itself is still mint, even with the abuse my gets.

For anyone who wants to protect their investment in a blackberry, there is no other choice.

True that sometimes size is perceived as weight, but take it from me, there is a little there. I carry all kinds of stuff on my belt in the field and when something is added I can tell. And I don't doubt that it would protect the BB from day to day, but like I experienced with mine, it fell out of the clip twice, the clip does not hold it tight enough. But how many times will the bb take a fall, even with this case, before it actually gets some kind of damage? I Want protection too, thats why I was excited about it, but I can not be excited about the bb falling out. With a few minor tweaks I think the problem may be solved.

See... I am too fat to carry mine on my belt comfortably... well, maybe not too fat, but I still prefer to slide it into a pocket as opposed to using the clip.

Mine is gone. The case we have is very different from the one you have corey so I think it did add some weigt to it. Also that lousy holster is for the birds.
