and I start Choosing the stuff I want to Install then I go next and while it is doing its work the step after "LOAD JVM AND SYSTEM SOFTWARE" it stops while in step "WAITING FOR DEVICE INITIALIZATION" and tells """"A fatal error has occurred while updating your device's software. Please try again.

Unspecified error encountered [J:0x00000005]"""" and I can hear the sound of Disconnecting and connection of the phone Over and Over through this step u know when u connect a USB and Disconnect it
and yes I deleted that fill in the Apploader Folder

Now I have a 507 error with and I tried every thing Wiping over and over and trying to wipe with battery and without battery and all I get is this shit I hate this Phone

First, make certain you have the USB plugged to main rear USB port of your PC... not a USB hub, monitor port or front PC USB port.

Or change ports for the USB, if you already have it plugged to a rear port.

You have two USB ports? Try another.

I tried and after I get to the step where the fatal error occurs it keeps restarting Over and Over and red light comes on then off while I am hearing the sound of a connected USB or a Disconnected one and after couple times of hearing that sound it tells me RELOAD SOFTWARE 507

Try rebooting both the laptop and the device then trying again.

I hope you have warranty on the phone because nothing can be done with this error. They should be able to exchange it but you would still have to go through troubleshooting with Tmobile and then RIM to make sure its a valid exchange.

How odd that this EXACT thing happened to my wife's phone today...all the way to the same error codes.
After multiple battery pulls with varying time of the battery being out, I tried to re-install the OS. No luck. So, after trying that a few times, I wiped it. Then, I tried to install the OS again, but it kept rebooting. So, I pulled the battery out and tried to install the OS again. That let it start the installation, but it could never finish due to the same errors that looda had.

I finally gave in and called TMO. It took 4 different CSR's (two from T-Mobile and two from RIM) and 45 minutes on the phone to determine that it needed to be replaced. They are shipping the phone and it should be here by Wednesday.
