Default Blackberry won't charge.

Got a company curve that doesn't appear to charge anymore.
Was told that it would no longer charge by USB cable or wall charger, and I can't seem to get it to charge anymore as well.
When I plug it in, it shows a battery icon with a lighting bolt through it, but has had that for about 20mins. now and won't turn. Tried another battery and still have the problem.
When I first given the phone it did turn on just enough to say battery depleted turning handset off.
It has also been dropped a numerous amount of times.
Any thoughts on the problem and how to fix it?

When you tried the new battery did you attempt to charge that first?

Its not actually a new battery but a battery that I borrowed from someone else who has a curve.

Okay, try these basic things. Try another usb port on your pc. If that doesn't work look at the cable itself, is it in good condition? I ran one over with my chair once and it wouldn't connect. Have you tried another cable? Finally look at the curve usb port, is it clean-nothing in it?

With it being droped a few times it really could be anything, right now I am just attempting the basics.

Also does your company have a protection plan?

Before anything drastic... let it sit and charge for one hour plus. Then attempt to turn it on or pull the battery to reboot. On these devices, 20-30 minutes won't get much of a charge to boot.

Tried that. Got it charging off a wall charger right now. Been close to an hour but still nothing.
We do have insurance but I am not sure they would replace it, but I don't see why they wouldn't.

I will let it charge alittle longer and then see what happens, if not I guess I will have to call tmobile and see what they. I hate going through there blackberry testing.

Try also to plug in the charge with NO battery present. See if the screen lights up and gives you the no battery icon. This will help to determine if its the phone itself.

Also, check the liquid damage indicators, if either (one on the battery one under the battery on the device) are pink/washed out, your device has been exposed to liquid and warranty will not replace it.

Screen does light up with a battery that has a red line through it.
The water indicator on the phone is still white. the indicator on the bottom of the battery has pink X's on it.

I think there might be a problem with the phone because the guy who uses it said he tried for abit to charge it off the computer and wall charger.

Also I did try uses a battery from another curve that was working and the phone wouldn't turn on.
