Default A Free Gift To You - BlackBerryForums Shortcut Applications

Please Login to Remove!

BlackBerryForums Shortcut Applications
**DIRECT LINKS STRAIGHT TO YOUR FAV FORUM!**
A free gift to you!

NOTE: (02/02/2010) These shortcuts have now been updated to support OS 4.7 and 5.0.

NOTE: 07/23/2010: THE BBWAP SITE HAS BEEN DISABLED SO THERE IS NO NEED TO INSTALL THE SHORTCUT FOR BBWAP. YOU NEED ONLY INSTALL THE MAIN SITE SHORTCUT AND YOU WILL BE DIRECTED TO THE MOBILE SITE IF YOUR BB BROWSER IS SET TO EMULATE BLACKBERRY IN THE OPTIONS. Enjoy!!

BlackBerryForums has the BEST members around and the applications below were designed just with you in mind! We hope you will enjoy using these new homescreen application shortcuts directly from your trusty BlackBerry... three applications in all.

One for the wap.BlackBerryForums.com site, another to the regular BlackBerryforums.com site and another directly to the FAQ site! And, each of the apps are under 10kb in size, so small they would never crowd your BB device memory (two of the apps are actually under 5 KB).

Check it out, and ENJOY!

Master Image.

I had the jonathan fisher shortcut with the BBForums icon that you had posted, and only complaint about that was the battery pull/ icon disappears thing.

Now, i won't have that!

thanks guys/gals, for this!

i know it will be perfect, as it is approved by this site!

Yep, I really like jonathans app too but the battery pull thing got on my nerves as it seems like I'm always doing that.

Perfect? Hopefully. We tried it on quite a few devices and it seems to work good. Please report any issues here. Biggest issue is DO NOT load the 4.2 version on a 4.1 device. I've reloaded the OS to my old 7290 several times during testing!

I installed OTA. I ignored an error message and the icons installed with no problem. Very nice.

On a few devices, upon install, there has been a module # error message... but like you say, the app works regardless. Honestly, I think you can ignore that error.

Looks good! I got the error message as well, and the first time I loaded it, it took me to the Blackberry homepage. Then I closed the browser and clicked on the icon and it worked.

Thanks guys!

This error only seems to happen on cdma devices. Not sure what the deal is. It doesn't seem to affect anything, though.

Glad everyone is happy with it! Mr. Sanders and Simon.Hain have spent a good bit of time on it.
