Default no internet browser setup option 8310

Please Login to Remove!

I recently received a replacement BB 8310 and when trying to set up my e-mail the only option I had was to the Blackberry server, there was not a browser or internet setup option on the phone. I have hotmail as my personal e-mail. please help

Login to the bis of your carrier and make sure the pin there is your current phone then push the service books again

Also, be sure that you have a BlackBerry Data Plan. You will not be able to set up Personal Email or access the Internet on the device without it.

Entering the new PIN should push the service books. However, if they don't: log in and hit the Resend Service books button.

FYI you don't set up the browser. The icon will appear once the service books are pushed to your BB.

And make sure you didn't get a BlackBerry that had once been on somebody's corporate BES. An old IT Policy may still reside on it, preventing you from using the browser.
