Is anyone else having problems with their Hotmail on their BlackBerry? I can send email from my Hotmail on my BlackBerry but I'm not receiving any emails on my BlackBerry from my Hotmail account. This has been going on since about Wednesday of last week. I've seen some things floating around about RIM outages but it looks like it's only effecting Texas? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

P.S. I have a Hotmail Plus account and have been successfully sending and receiving emails to/from my Hotmail account on my BlackBerry for years, so the problem isn't that I have my account set up correctly or I'm not using Hotmail Plus.

I have the same problem with my hotmail account. My other account (non-Hotmail) is working fine but the Hotmail one doesn't receive any email. I too can send emails from this account with no problem.

I tried all the tricks that I'm aware of (battery pull, registering the device, sending service books, deleting and re-adding the account) but nothing seems to work. Sometimes after I try one of these it does fix the problem for a while but after a few hours it stops receiving emails again.

Is your account still not working properly?

Yes, I'm still having this problem with my Hotmail to no avail. :( What about you? Were you able to fix things?

Login to your BIS account and check if it tells you to revalidate your hotmail emial address. If it does - do it.

I've already tried this and re-validating the account does not seem to be the issue. I've already deleted/re-added my Hotmail account from my BB, re-sent services books and done numerous battery pulls. Can you think of anything else I could try?

Possible Resolution/Solution: [Worked for me]

Try deleting all prior email from that hotmail/msn account and then send some test message. And also send the service books again. Hopefully this will help you some of you out.

*Also note, if you re-add a MSN/Hotmail account that previously supported the option "Synchronize deleted items between this mailbox and my device." this option will no longer be available. And there is no going back. Personally I prefer the old option, but if you prefer real-time push delete the account and re-add. The new way also requires you to login in the BIS every 90 days and confirm you still want to push.
