I want to find software that enables me to press and hold one of my convince keys to enable disable 3G I hate going in and out of menus... RIM are you listening???? or do I need to do another "RIM should have though of this first segment?"

actually what is needed is software that can sense if you are on the web and need 3g or if you are on a call and get an email and need 3g otherwise stay in 2g. would be great for battery life.

I set the Left Convenience Key to Manage Connections. Not perfect but it works. Also lets me turn Bluetooth on and off.

I use to use that but I accidently always hit those buttons so I have tuned both of them off. It drove me nuts pulling out of the holster and hitting them by accident. That is why I would love a push hold for 2 seconds. Would prevent accidental presses.
