Just got mine today. I am little upset since it looks like Amazon is the way to go for the best price. $249 less $150 Rebate. The great thing about Amazon's rebate is that you do not have to have the unlimited data plan & a $39.99 or higher voice plan (Cingular's requirements on their $150 rebate) to receive it.

This is my first smaller form factor BB. The screen without the backlight (and slightly better with the backlight) is is much better than the 7750. And of course the 7290 is much faster at processing.

The only thing that sucks about it is the coverage, I simply cannot get a signal higher than one bar, and often times it drops out here at my home......shessh!

Cingular.com. The new features in 3.8 are really nice.

I am attempting to use a cingular 7290 with an at&t sim. The phone, email, and wap browsing work fine. However, I am unable to enable HTML browing through the cingular aws internet icon. I tried selecting options from the aws internet application and entering "RBRO" but nothing happens. Browser Config, General Props, and Cache Operations are the only choices and I am unable to change the content mode from WML to HTML/WML, etc..

Has anyone else had success? If so, how?

I finally got mine too and its working good. I like it so far! Only prob is My bluetooth is stuck off. Is anyone else having this problem? I turned it on and worked and I turned it off and now I can't get it turned back on.

Did you guys all order from Cingular?

Now I'm thinking I should have ordered from them instead of Karbon.

Yeah I ordered from Cingular. Stands to reason that Karbon may have been a few days behind since it looks like the stock problems were on Cingular's end.

I just wish these were at least in the Cingular stores. The ones I've called don't expect to get them until next week or the week after.
