Where did you get this from? I have been dying to get one on ATT but since the merger w/ Cingular all I can find are the Cingular versions.

Question: If I get a cingular version 7290 and pop in my ATTWS 7280 SIM will I be able to use the 7290 in the same way I used my 7280 on ATT?

you can get AT&T 7290 version from their website, www.attwireless.com, and do an upgrade of phone. If you havent' changed your device more than twice within the 12 month period, you should be able to get it at the discounted price.

If you have a FAN, you can and order the 7290 from the NBO office (800-388-3235).

I have the AT&T 7290 also, only bad thing is they dont have version 4.0 OS handheld code for AT&T out yet. The HK version does work. Been using it for over a week now.

What would be the advantage of installing the HK version? I was told that version 3.8 is very similar to 4.0

If your on a version 4.0 BES you get the task, notes and contact sync wirelessly and can also dump the desktop client. It is very nice.

ahh.. that WOULD be nice. Now if only my company upgrades. They're very conservative when it comes to upgrading their servers.
