I have a 2006 Lexus GS 430 and it works great. No caller ID since you can not download phonebook, but it makes and recieves calls and you can select a POI item from nav and call associated phone #'s. Hope that helps.

I have the 7100G and an ACURA MDX with the Hands Free support. Works great however when in the holster I am having issues making calls. Receiving not an issue and if the phone is out of the holster it is not an issue eather.

I know the redial function on BT headsets doesn't work with the BB holstered so that's probably why you are having that problem.

If you have your phone set to lock when it is in the holster you can not make outgoing calls. It looks like it is on my Lexus but the call never actually goes through. Take off the lock in holster and it works.

I can tell you that the 7100t will not if the keyboard is locked. I haven't tried a 7290 but do you have it so the keyboard is locked when it is in the holster?

That's odd, I know others had complained that they couldn't do that so I tried it and I couldn't either. I'm on a 7520 with an HS850.
