Last night (at an Elton John concert) I let my 7290 do a search for Bluetooth devices, it found 29 of them!!!!!

Among the devices AT A CONCERT was a Pharos GPS unit, several Dell PDA's, a load of phones (all discoverable seemingly), a bunch of headsets and.... a frikkin Bluetooth Barcode scanner (we were too far from the doors for them to be the Ticketmaster scanners)...

A GPS unit at an Elton John Concert???? What on earth would that be good for?

Sadly of course my little 7290 couldn't do anything with them :(

This was INSIDE the venue :D

I guess they just forgot to turn it off... still weird...

Maybe there was a GeoCache near the concert...

Maybe the stage crew used it to place equipment?


Maybe Elton's memory is fading in his old age and he needed it to find the stage?
