Default Various Bluetooth

I just got a Bluetooth headset for my 7290, and now I have several questions:

First...if I leave Bluetooth enabled on my Blackberry, is this a significant battery drainer...e.g. will I have to recharge at all times if Bluetooth is enabled throughout the day?

Is there a keyboard shortcut for enabling bluetooth from the main screen of my Blackberry(similar to hitting the M key to get messages and the K key to lock the keyboard). I can't find anything to toggle Bluetooth, and I can't find any way to set a custom shortcut key. This is annoying...I have to run the trackwheel and find the right icon.

If I need to keep bluetooth off for the most part, it seems quite awkward to have to put in the headset and make a pairing while my phone is ringing. Is this easier than it seems, or unlikely to happen in the course of a call?

Are the RIM batteries Lithium ION? If I leave my Blackberry hooked up to a charger at my desk all day, will this cause future battery problems?

Thanks in Advance,
Brian

I charge my equipment nightly and don't have any problems, so I can't really answer as to what sort of battery life you can use with Bluetooth enabled all the time. I always leave Bluetooth on and can easily get two days when I forget to charge my 7290 and HS810.

Once you pair the device with your 7290 you shouldn't have to do it again. Something that will help is if you set it so that your headset is a trusted device or it will ask you each and every time whether or not to accept the connection. Still, I can't see turning on Bluetooth and putting on the headset while it's ringing. I barely have enough time just to deal with the headset in most cases.
