Hi all. I am getting my new Z10 today and when I was setting up blackberry link it stated that in order to sync to iphoto I need iphoto '11 for this to work. Well, in typical mac fashion my macbook does not meet the requirements for snow leopard, which is required for iphoto '11. Does anyone know of a workaround so that I can still sync to iphoto? I have iphoto 7.1.5

Mac OS 10.5.6 or later
iTunes 10 or later for music and video synchronization
iPhoto version 9 (iLife version 11) or later to import your pictures and videos.

iPhoto should work with your current OS. As it works with Mac OS v10.5.6 or later.

According to another discussion board iPhoto '11, version 9.2.3 is as high as you can update while running Snow Leopard, version 10.6.8. When I go to download iPhoto '11 from the app store the current version is 9.4.3 and it says I can't. There may be a way to download 9.2.3?

hmmm. Thanks for the link, but this is proving more difficult than I thought. I can't seem to get iphoto 9.0 to work. This appears to be something I should be searching on an apple forum. If it can't get it to work or find a work around I am going to have to send the Z10 back.

As I know very little about iOS or it's devices and Apple services in general, it would probably be a good idea to see if anyone on the iMore forums or Apple forums has any workarounds.

Here is the deal.. I had to call Apple tech support and purchase the Lion operating system (which is not listed as available online) first. $20 Now I can buy iPhoto '11 another $20. Bummer. I am downloading it now so hopefully this works or else I am out $40 and the Z10.
