Default 8900 Camera "lens" coming off???

Please Login to Remove!

I have noticed a problem with the camera lens that is getting worse, it looks like it's "peeling" off of the back plastic piece. The piece itself is in great shape and looks like it's on good. But the little "lens" part looks as if it's peeling off. At first i thought it was just finger grease build up but i have attempted to clean it thoroughly to no avail and it seems to be getting worse every day. Is anyone else having this issue? Thoughts??

Thanks
Jeff

You could put on a BSE skin (best skins ever), that should protect it.

Me to.. i'm going to look at it closer tonight, possibly pull off the camera cover piece on the back all together and see if i can determine exactly what the cause is...

Well i ended up "scrubbing" whatever was giving the appearance of a peeling lens cover off of the lens. I am not sure if i removed some sort of anti-scratch coating or if something sticky had just gotten on it by accident and fooled me into thinking something else. The lens looks clean under direct light but... when i tilt it at a specific angle it looks spotted and cloudy so i'm not sure if i made things worse or better.

Can you post a picture of what is happening to your lens cover (obviously with a different camera ). I'm curious to see what is happening.
