Unhappy Video files are gone after latest software

Please Login to Remove!

after loading the upgrade my video files from my card are not there any more , if i am connected to my pc i can see them in my folder , after the cable is disconected thy are gone ----- any help ?
ps.
i did check the memory card and they are ther but my bb8900 is not reading them . No problem with mp3's

Copy your data from the card to your PC, the disconnect the phone and format the card using the phone option, I believe its Options|Memory. Then connect back to your PC and copy back the files to the memory card and you're good.

Change of OS negates the card until its formatted with that version of the OS.

i did that and i was able to see them on mybb for one day . They are still on the card but my bb will not display them . I did try to load the software again but it wont let me do that becouse this is the latest one

Tey are on my media card but my bb is not reading them any more . again mp3's are working fine . It is a 8g card and i have used about 4 gigs out of it

What's your phone OS version? You need 4.5 or higher, I believe to ready an 8GB card.

i had the same problem reformat card,reboot still after a day its gone..you can view when plug to pc an when u explore it on bb.............i tryed messing with setting but no luck.....so i encoded my avi files to mp4 instead so if anyone hav r found a solution plz post thank u

it happen to you after you loaded the newest software ???

i just loaded the new 206 again but same stuff. Yesterday i was able to see them now they are not acceseble any more . I think we need to wait or new software .

This has been a bug since os .176 I believe I know it was in .199 and now .206. 5.0 beta didn't even fix this. I think its a name changing bug that it won't see certain videos. Just a guess

it was working fine on 199. How i can reverse the softwar to earlier version ??

Loaded the 114 software , now everything works fine . I guess upgrading to the newest software is not always the best solution .
