The reset you did ... Soft? Or did you do a battery pull?

What you mean you reset it?

You pulled the battery?

That was the right thing to do. Didn't fix it though, huh?

It's beyond me then.

When you put the battery back in and the phone comes on, the camera light is still on? :|

In your camera options make sure the flash is set to off ( Although I doubt this would change anything and I suspect it already is... )

Beyond me as well.

Are you running an official OS release?

What have you done just before the problem? New software? Drops/shocks/possible moisture exposure?

See what others say, but you may want to get smart on wiping and reinstalling the OS if you aren't familiar with the process. But wait a while before you go that route and see what others say.

What do you mean "turned your phone on this morning"?

When you removed the battery, was the phone powered on?

Have some patience, we will try to help to the best of our abilities.

What happened before this started? Did you install a new application, theme? Did you drop the phone? Did it come in contact with moisture?

Try going into Video Camera > Options > Video Light = Off.

I would try to reload the OS.

Yeah, it looks like you already checked your settings, so at this point it is some corrupt file (or setting) thats keeping the light on

Although, this might be a good time to do a benchmark or two... compare the battery life with the light always on to the battery life w/ the light always off

Just JL CMDR or BBSAK to wipe the device and you can reload your current OS or upgrade to the latest 5.0 branch.
