Lightbulb Photo editing tricks and tips....

Please Login to Remove!

This is what curiosity end up paying on most electronic devices...

These tips are hardly useful and somehow a little time consuming but is good to know there is the possibility to do them almost out of the box....

First you will need Capture It! (free screen capture app)

What will you be able to do?

Besides the obvious capture of almost any screen on the BB including a Paused video.... you can:

- Crop pictures (to your phone's screen resolution) by zooming into your own pictures and use the App... (you can also rotate your pictures and capture it like that)

- Convert pictures to Greyscale and Reverse-Contrast

Now this second one is accomplished by doing the following:

> Go to phones "Options"
> Advanced Options
> Accessibility
> and change "Color Contrast" from "Normal" to either "Greyscale" or "Reverse Contrast"

This will make your screen look like that, including pictures menus, and almost every application.... (the only one that wont change is video playback unless paused)

So as you might have guessed already, you can Screen Capture your own pictures with this effect on it and make it a little more special (or crappier depending on the picture).... without the need of a computer or third party application (besides the free Capture It!)...

So I hope you enjoy this little Tip buried into BBs menus...

You're welcome

I already changed 4 of my pictures... its also cool to use the reverse contrast with a picture that was taken with other color effect like "whiteboard" (camera options)
