hi forum, newbie here, having serious probs wth loading google map, i can load file but wen i try to run it only loads upto number 4 on loading bar, then get message " network failure try again later.if that dosent work try installing a new version of this application" also on BB map i just get diagnal lines this is a unlocked vodafone 8310 with t-mobile sim.
p.s cant change home page on browser, go to browser config and at bottom wehre says home page , i cant change it any ides. cheers all

Have you set your apn settings under Options >Advanced Options >TCP?

I have the same problem.

I cannot find ANYTHING to resolve it. I have scanned the web for others, and there ARE others with this problem. I have tried editing permissions, making sure my BES had Split pipe settings enabled, uninstalling Google Maps 1.6.2, and trying older versions .... then reinstalling .....NOTHING helps.

that being said, it DID work at first when I got my 8320. Then, my service was shut off for an hour or 2 (oops, forgot to pay bill), and, now, all works, except this.

The only thing I can think of, is, that Google maps leaves some instruction in the Blackberry somewhere, in some file, even after uninstalling, and, that instruction needs to be removed.
