I have Missing Sync 1.0.3 on my Mac Book Pro. I have a TMO Blackberry 8700g, and contacts/calendar/notes sync fine.
How do I install programs on a BB from a Mac? Is there an equivalent for Mac of BB desktop software which I used to have on my Sony PC?
I also have Parallels on my Mac, using Windows XP Pro... is it possible to install the desktop software in Parallels & sync the Blackberry w/ Mac in that OS?
Finally, is it possible to load photos from my Mac on to the BB? When I sync'ed yesterday, it said "use storage card for photos". ??????? The 8700 uses a storage card?
Thanks in advance for guidance/ideas!

According to RIM, the 8700G is limited to 64MB of onboard memory and there is no provision for an SD card for additional storage. The device seems to be intended for controlled use within a corporate environment. That is, very little can go in or go out other than calendar and contacts, and notes. Missing Sync is a well designed tool that works well within the specs of BB OS. You might consider exchanging your 8700G for something more flexible and expandable, such as the Curve or a close relative. Such devices will appear as disks on your desktop when connected via USB. Transfers of various media are possible. Easy to suggest an exchange, I know, but the device you have is meant for a specific environment.
