Default Calendar Reminder Problem for "all day event"

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,
I have a blackberry 8830 and have been trying to figure this thing out forever. When I set an "ALL Day Event" in the calendar, I would like to receive a reminder at around 12pm, THE DAY OF the event.
Currently, if I set the calendar to send me a reminder 10 minutes before the "all day event", i will receive the reminder at 11:50pm (THE NIGHT BEFORE). This is understandable given the fact that a day starts at midnight. However, I would like to receive this reminder after I wake up (ie, the day of the event).
Some of you might suggest setting my "Start of Day" to 8am from the options menu.... HAVE ALREADY DONE THIS and it still doesn't work.

ANY SUGGESTIONS? please DON'T suggest setting the event at 12pm instead of setting it for an "all day event". I want a morning reminder for my "ALL DAY EVENTS".

Thank You in advance

If the appointment is set for all day and you set the reminder to go off at 10 minutes prior, or whatever then you're going to have this problem. There really is no way around it.

The reminder is always going to happen prior to or at the event time. Not after it starts.

If you set an event to start at midnight, the reminder will come 10 minutes to midnight, there's no way to change that. You could try "Jott" or "I want sandy" to set a separate reminder at a specific time. Check out their websites.

Set a task reminder with the appt name in it and set the alert/reminder for whenever you would like?

That might help.

If your using Outlook you can set the warning time to the time you need from 15 minutes to many days. Maybe you can use it to control your meeting days.
Another method may be to just add another reminder at the time you need.
