Hi All,

I'm a new BB owner and user of the bold 9700. My question is...Is there a way to delete multiple messages in all the log history folders with one click instead of deleting them one at a time ? Sort of like a "clear all" function.

Your question is somewhat confusing. Are you asking about messages or browser history or eventlog?

Sorry for the confusion devnull...what i mean is...let's say i open my call log. there r many entries there. let's say i want to delete all of the entries perhaps like 30 of them. Right now i am going through each one and deleting them individually. I would like to know if there's a way to select a bunch of them at one time and delete them ?

If you have a particular "constant" in your messages/logs, like having the same telephone numbers, or same senders, you can search based on the number/name. The on the results page, just do a "delete prior", and all the prior messages prior to that will be deleted.

Instead of opening the call log, open the messages icon and hit alt-p. This will give you a list of all your calls seperated by date. You can then select multiples by highlighting each one OR highlight a particular date and tap the BB key and select Delete Prior.

You can also press and hold the left Shift button, highlight as many messages (or calls) as you need and delete them all at once.
