I've only had my BB for a month. I'm upgrading my 8330 on Verizon today to 4.5.0.101. Do I need to upgrade Dekstop Mgr to 4.5 or is 4.6 compatible with the OS 4.5 on the 8330?

Although I'm on At&T, I'm using DM v4.6 with the Rogers 4.5.0.81 OS without issues. I had to resolve some internal issues with Outlook in order to synch correctly, but other than that, it works great.

FWIW, DM v4.2 works with the 4.5 OS's as well.

it doesnt really matter which desktop manager you use, but it's always good to have the latest one just in case there are any issues with the old ones.

I am having problems with DM. A lot of the time it won't recognize my BB.
I upgraded to 4.6 today and it was working.
Now I downloaded OS 4.5 to my computer and DM won't recoginze that my BB is connected again, so I can't install it on the BB.


Does anyone know why I am having this problem?

I am having problems where my BB is not synching. The BB screen says that I am connected but that is it and the BBdesktop grays out so I can't select any keys. I am going nuts now for the second week.
